We are running our electric and steam trains this Sunday 02/03/25 from 10am until 12.30.![]()
We will also be carrying out a steam test on a member's engine, so you can witness that as well.![]()

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be conducting a steam test today. We will however have a good selection of ride on trains on our Hurworth Grange track from 10am until 12.30
We are running our trains this Sunday from 10am until 12.30 at The Grange Community Centre at Hurworth.![]()
We will have our recently refurbished "Gert" on the track, pulling passengers and we will have some electrics and maybe another steam train.![]()
Please bear with us if we are a little slow, I am trying to get some of our members to help out because some of our members will be involved in carrying out a steam test on a member's engine.![]()

We have just appointed some new boiler inspectors but until they are trained up, we will not be using them.![]()
We have a member's train which is due a steam test and we have an experienced boiler tester available on Sunday. We are therefore taking the opportunity to both carry out the steam test and also use the opportunity to carry out some training.![]()

Of course this is all outside on our steaming bays so anyone can observe what is happening and if you ask one of the members, they will explain what is happening.![]()
We are expecting to start the steam test from about 10am.![]()

Our newly refurbished steam train "Gert" should be back on the track on Sunday pulling passengers. It has just been given a detailed inspection by it's caretaker after its initial run of passenger pulling to make sure that everything is bedding in O.K. and everything is fine.![]()
